How to Achieve Incredible Results

Let’s keep this simple. The number one thing that will make you successful is taking action. And you need to take that action on a regular basis. Absolutely nothing can replace taking action. You can read all the books, watch all the YouTube videos, hang out in all the Facebook groups, and become best friends with millionaires and people who are crushing it. But if you don’t take action, you are not going to succeed.

This took me a long time to figure out. I’ve always had this inner feeling—this urge—to want to make more money, build businesses, reach more people, and help others. The first couple of years, I was steadily growing, and things were going well. However, I wasn’t getting the results that I wanted. At the end of the day, I just wasn’t taking enough action.

Nothing can replace action. Very few people continually take massive amounts of action, and they ultimately fail. Now, you may take action and get results that aren’t optimal. Maybe you were shooting to make a certain amount of money, and you fell a little bit short. But if you are taking action repeatedly, you’re going to get results.

Very few people ever take any amount of action. And guess what? They get nothing. It just doesn’t happen for them.

The “Secret” of Success

That’s the secret: take action consistently.

You want to make more money? You want to get fitter and healthier? You want to feel better? Take action and keep going. When you take action, you get results. When you get results, you feel good. That good feeling inside leads to more action and more momentum, and that’s the key to the game. Get that momentum going and start to stack achievement on achievement. Then you are getting pumped up and excited. People start noticing. You feel good. You have become that person you wanted to be. You have created this self-identity where you’ve leveled up. You’re not going back down. You’re on fire and so pumped up.

Roadblocks along the Way
The journey won’t be perfect all the time. Sometimes it will be tough to take action. You might feel burnt out. At times, I am just grinding my pedal to the metal, going hard, hitting the ground running, and sometimes I burn out a little bit. Taking a rest here and there is OK. The truth is that most people are not able to work full-out all the time. Don’t beat yourself up over that.

But remember to take action on a consistent basis. If you look back on your life over the last couple of years, and you take a look at how hard you’ve been working and your results, you will see a strong correlation between how much action you’ve taken and the results you’ve  gotten.

Don’t Forget to Evaluate Your Action Too
But say you have been grinding and grinding, taking massive amounts of action. You might be working up to 50, 60, or 70 hours a week. But your results seem to have just capped off.

The problem is that you’re taking action, but you’re climbing up the wrong ladder.

Certain ladders are only going to go up to the second floor in terms of income. You might not be climbing up a big enough ladder. If you want to get to a higher floor, you might have to climb another ladder. You might have to switch up your business model. You may need to leverage your business model by hiring people—virtual assistants, for example. Maybe you need a physical location to hire physical staff to be able to scale and grow.

The Recipe
It isn’t enough only to take action continually. You need to take action, and you need to be smart about the action you are taking. That’s the secret recipe right there.

In terms of my business, when I level up, make more money, and get better results, it’s typically because I’m taking massive amounts of action on a regular basis but making sure I am combining it with the right types of actions that will yield the results I’m after.

Take massive amounts of action, and feel free to slow down every now and then. When you slow down, make sure to think. Spend time thinking. Go get a white board or a journal.

Write down ideas. Spend the first 15 minutes a day writing down 20 or 30 different ideas that can help you to level up and grow. Fine-tune your business model and your actions.

Take action, but remember to think.
