How I Made $35,834.50 Without Selling Physical Products

The other day a $36,000 check showed up in my mailbox. Now, I don’t share that with you to brag or boast or impress you. I just want to let you know that you could make really, really good money making YouTube videos, creating content on social media, and building up your brand.

I’ve been getting quite a few people asking me, “Steve, what tips do you have? What resources? What books have you read? How can I get started so I can build up a brand, help people, and start launching products or doing affiliate marketing?”

The Secret of Dotcom Secrets
I wanted to share with you this book called Dotcom Secrets by Russell Brunson; you can get it on Amazon. Pretty much everything that I do in my business when it comes to launching products, affiliate marketing, building my brand, and creating a monetization strategy stems from what I learned in that book. You will find a tremendous amount of information in this book.

I went to one of Brunson’s conferences called Funnel Hackers Live, and I learned all these amazing strategies for creating a brand, launching products, and making more money through my launches. It was just crazy. But the really crazy thing is that most of the stuff that I learned at the conference, surprisingly, is in the book. He literally took different concepts from inside the book and shared the same thing at the conference.

But one thing that I’ve realized in life is that it’s kind of like karate. If you want to get really good at karate, it’s all about practicing the same things over and over again. It’s not learning a million different things; that’s not what it’s all about. It’s about getting really good at three, four, or five things and really mastering them. While I might have already known some of this stuff before the conference from reading the book, the repetitiveness of it really helped instill it in my mind.

The Value Ladder
But even if you cannot go to one of Brunson’s conferences, this is the book that you want to get. He talks about the concept of the value ladder. This is one thing that I wish I would have known a long time ago. For example, many people will start a YouTube channel and release a $200 to $300 course. What Brunson talks about in this book is that essentially what you want to do is start with something small.

So give something away for free. Now, think of a ladder that ascends upward. Start with something free, and then instead of selling them on a $300 item, sell them something that’s like $7 or $8. That’s called the tripwire. You are trying to get them to ascend the ladder of products from free to $7 to $47 to $147 and up to your main core offer. That’s one of the concepts in his book that really stood out for me, and that’s one thing that I’m definitely applying to my business as well. Definitely check out this book. You’re going to love it.

I can tell you right now that I have never found a book with more value than this one. I’ve taken courses, I’ve spent hundreds and thousands of dollars on courses and training, and this book right here has made the biggest impact. Get it today.
