What’s happening everybody? On YouTube, Steve here with Raiken Profit, coming to you guys with another video from a beautiful Saturday afternoon. It’s about 12:06 right now, and I woke up pretty late today because I’ve been feeling a little under the weather and wanted to sleep in to get some rest and recover, and I really just want to get a good rest. I didn’t want to wake up at 6:00 or 7:00 in the morning and hit the garage sales, but nevertheless ended up waking up, like I said, a little later, and went out for a coffee and it was about eleven o’clock and decided to hit a couple of garage sales. I hit garage sales for about 15, 20 minutes. I hit one or two? No I hit two. Two sales and there was a third, but I didn’t walk up to it; there was nothing there. I hit two sales, spent about 20 minutes, and I want to show you some of the items that I picked up, just to show you that you can make a couple of bucks just screwing around, grabbing a coffee and just running up to a few sales.
Even if you don’t plan out a route and prepare, and wake up early and prep your car and get gas and get ready to go crazy for the day. Nevertheless, you can still go out for 20 minutes, 30 minutes and make a few extra bucks to be able to pay for your week’s gas or whatnot. Which is pretty much what I did. So I’m gonna share with you some of the items that I found to sell on eBay and Amazon. So yeah, with that being said, let’s dive right into it. Found two of these puppies over at the first garage sale that I went to. And this was a dollar for both of them. So 50 cents each I ended up getting these for, and these are Topsy Tarvy? I don’t even know what these are. Upside down tomato planters. Brand new in the box. Opened up the box just to make sure it was brand new, and it is. And it is, never been used, and I got to do some more research on these, but I think these are going for about 15 or 20 bucks each right here. And again, 50 cents each, so if I can make ten bucks profit on each one of those, that would be definitely pretty cool, right there. So I mean, yeah. Walked up at what? 11.15 and found those sitting there, so that was pretty cool.
This next pair of … Well this next item is a tweeter, I’m not sure what is it, by Jensen. I don’t even know what this is I’m looking at. It’s says features, “Mounting flexibility, smoother response, built-in crossover”, I don’t know what it is. A dome tweeter. 100 watts, I don’t know if it’s a speaker or what it is. I need to do some more research on this. But got this thrown into the deal. As you can see, the plastic’s a little ripped off at the edge, and it’s got some cracking in the plastic. So I’m not sure what I’m gonna do with this, I see a Walmart sticker on it right there. So I’m probably gonna throw this as like, like new on eBay just to see what it fetches. I need to do some more research but if I could even get ten or 15 bucks, I mean, why not? But that’s kind of an experiment right there.
Here’s an item that I picked up. It’s a bottoms up 15 ounce some type of glass. Some type of glass, but I thought it was really interesting because if you look a little closer, it’s got a really cool little design on it. And I scanned it really quick on FBA. I believe it was going for 15 or 20. I need to do some more research. I’m actually having some issues right now with my Note 4 phone, and I’m like, I’m fed up. I’m really, I’m fed up with Android and the Note 4 and the apps are always crashing, it doesn’t scan anymore. Sometimes you scan it and it just stops working. So I’m actually going to be getting rid of the Note 4. Peace out Note 4 and hello, iPhone 6. So I’m gonna be making that exchange. But I’m having a little bit of trouble researching items right now on Amazon. But I think this should be, do well. I paid two bucks for it. They wanted five, so I actually walked away from the deal. And when I was walking away, he says “If you want it for two, you can have it.” And I said, “Alright, I’ll take it.” So who knows, we’ll see. eBay or Amazon right there. Nothing big. Again, not anything crazy today.
The thing I always noticed about YouTube and like these haul videos, is people only want to show you like the amazing finds. Like killing it, making 1,000 bucks, 2,000 bucks, a $700 score. I want to just show you some average, just like run of the mill, like just going out for 20 minutes, finding some stuff, items because I don’t know. I’m trying to be real and transparent. I want to show you what it’s really like. Just if you’re screwing round for 20 minutes. This was a cool little find right here. Neil Diamond Is Forever, a book, and as you can see it was a dollar, tried to negotiate. But this woman would not budge. No worries, this was going for $26 used. So that’s a really good profit margin right there. After alls said and done, I’ll probably make I don’t know 15 or $16 profit on this, maybe more. Think it had like a 380,000 rank in the book category, which is terrific. The book category is really big. So anything under a million, 500,000 is definitely a cool find. Yeah, Neil Diamond Is Forever. I saw that, I scanned it in and I was like bada bing bada boom.
Next item that I found is another book, again look at this, a quarter. The merchants are starting off at nine or ten bucks. [inaudible] coming in like 13, 25 so I’ll probably put this at like $11, probably make $6 profit. Nothing huge. But again, I’m just screwing around, sipping on my coffee, hitting up a few sales right near my house. I mean, I’m spending literally no gas money, I didn’t have to wake up early which … I love waking up early at times but when I’m not feeling so well, I don’t really wanna wake up early. But six or seven bucks on a 25 cent investment. I mean, that’ll pay for a meal. That’ll pay for a juice at Whole Foods.
Another find, a dollar right here, nothing huge. Again, nothing huge. But a brand new in the case CD. Walt Disney 101 Dalmatians. 36,000 rank in the CD category. So that’ll be a fast seller right there and paid a dollar, sell it for like 11 or 12. So you know probably make another five or six dollars profit. So, so far, you know six bucks profit, five, I’m up to 11, say I make 15, I’m up to 21, let’s just say I make five, I’m to 26, and then those tomato things, we’ll say ten each. That’s $46. So up to $46 profit so far. Again not changing the world but making a few extra bucks. And the last item I want to share with you is this teddy bear. Really interesting. I was walking away from this first garage sale and I’m like wait a minute, let me check this out. Brand spanking new, tags and everything, this is a Carlton Cards bear, and had the barcode and everything. I scanned it but nothing was coming up on FBA.
And I looked it up on eBay and this is like really high quality. It’s got the little pacifier and everything. I looked it up on eBay and I saw one that sold for 37 plus shipping. So $2, I paid $2 for this and yeah, just high quality, it feels great. Comes with the original bag and everything. So if I can make … Let’s say I make 25, $20 profit on that, would bring me up to 66. Let’s just say $60 profit. I mean, 60 bucks profit guys for just screwing around for 20 minutes at a garage sale. Two garage sales. So again, didn’t spend much gas, I didn’t waste much time and it was a good time. So yeah, hopefully you guys enjoy this video. Let me know in the comments section, how did you guys do this Saturday morning/afternoon? Did you find any crazy scores? Did you kill it? Did you come up empty? Let me know in the comments section, would love to hear. Also I’ve got some Amazon packages back there, I’ve got to go drop off at UPS. I forgot. So hopefully they are still open. But yeah, thanks for watching this video, keep [inaudible] making that money and I will see you guys in the next video. Thanks for watching. Bye.
