Hey, what’s going on everybody, Steve here. Raiken Profit, raikenprofit.com coming back to you with another video and this is a video that was inspired by my good friend Greg at the Valet Picker YouTube channel. Definitely check him out. He came to the Connecticut Thrifting meet-up about a week ago, well less than a week ago, and he found a vintage Nike tee shirt that he put up for sale. I think he said he already got an offer for $90 or $100 on it. I think he’s shooting for $200 on it, but it was crazy. We were so blown away when he found this item at a Savers Thrift Store and I think he paid $4. If you’re watching Greg, let people know in the comments, but it was a single threaded tee shirt, so if you actually flip the tee shirt inside out, it’s a single thread, I think, instead of a double stitch.

Be on the lookout for the single threaded Nike tee shirts. That’s an indicator that it’s vintage. From my knowledge, that’s what he was saying, but it motivated me to make this video because I want to share with you about six or seven vintage Nike tee shirts that sold for just incredible profit. If you’re a thrifter, if you’re buying and selling on eBay, selling clothing, you definitely want to be on the lookout for these types of items.

What I’m going to do is I’m actually going to share my screen with you and I want to showcase a couple items that actually sold on eBay for some ridiculous profits. When you’re flipping through the clothing racks or you’re at a garage sale, be on the lookout for these items. Now, you may never find one in your lifetime, but if you’re like Greg and you’re flipping through and you know what to look for, you can make some big, big profit.

I’m actually going to see if I can get confirmation from Greg on Facebook and ask him if I could use a picture of his shirt for the thumbnail. If you see a picture of a shirt on the thumbnail of this video on YouTube, then you know that’s the shirt that he found. So, I’m going to see if I can do that. If not, I totally understand if he doesn’t want to share that.

Anyway, first up is a really cool vintage, what appears to be an 80’s Hollywood swoosh Nike item. Look at the … Just look at the design of that. The background of Hollywood, really, really cool. This is from the 80’s apparently, so there’s the tag right there. I know Greg’s tag, as well, said, I think it was 44-46, so you might get tricked thinking that it’s a youth size, which a youth size would probably be 16-18 or 18-20. You might get tricked, but that’s actually what I think the old tags have on them. We’ll take a look at some more tags, but yeah check that out, $399.

You might be thinking, Steve you’re out of your frickin’ mind. No, I’m telling you, these old vintage Nike items, they sell ridiculously well. They actually said we’re not experts on any of these items we sell, however we do try to do a reasonable amount of research and describe the item as accurately as possible. Nothing really interesting there, but very, very cool item right there.

Next up, now this thing definitely looks vintage. The other item, I was like, oh that might be hard to tell out in the field except for looking at the tag, but check this out, it says Hike Nike. This definitely looks old. I bet you this is a single stitch right there. Tag says Nike XL, size extra large sportswear. $200 and look, 18 bids on this item. Guys, this is crazy, look at that. This old vintage Nike stuff sells for a lot of money.

So, I’m not going to sit here and pretend like I’m a very knowledgeable person when it comes to determining if it’s vintage and what’s real and authentic, so I’m not going to sit here and give you advice about things I don’t know, but I know if something looks interesting, if the colors are vibrant, if it’s got a cool design, the shirt looks older, if the tag looks a little unique, what I’m going to do is investigate and I suggest you do the same thing. The goal of this video is to make you aware that one, you should be flipping through the tee shirt section for old Nike stuff and two, if you find the right item, there’s some Holy Grails out there that can make you some really good money.

$200 right there on that Nike tee shirt, Hike Nike. Next up, this is really cool. I saw a bunch of these in the sold listings. This is a Dennis Rodman vintage graphic tee shirt from the 90’s, Chicago Bulls right here. Dennis Rodman was killing it for years.oesnt look like anything special on the front, but then you flip the back and you got Dennis Rodman. He used to always have crazy hair and earrings and stuff. Wild guy, right there. $150 guys, if you see this, you better pick it up ’cause if you don’t, I will.

Here we have a Michael Jordan Looney Tunes tee shirt, right here. You got Michael Jordan on it, you’ve got Bugs Bunny getting ready to slam dunk a basketball with a dynamite stick in it. Hare Jordan, that’s really cool, you got the sneakers on, very interesting item. It looks like it’s kind of beat up, not in the bast condition, $129.99. If you find something like this, I can guarantee you a couple things. Number one, you’re going to have a smile on your face and number two, you’re going to make some big money. Do not pass it up, boom.

Next up, we have a … Who is this guy again? Oh yeah, Porky the Pig. Nike Just Do It from the 90’s, really cool item. I’m telling you guys, the sneaker heads, a lot of the kids, the younger folks, they love this stuff. I mean, I probably wouldn’t wear this just because I’m not a huge basketball fan or a huge Nike fan, but there’s a cult following around this type of stuff. I’m telling you, it sells like hotcakes and it sells quick. Just Do It, Porky the Pig, 1993 graphic tee shirt, $90.

Another item, Weaker Sex, that’s an interesting tee shirt, Your Serve Big Boy. I don’t really fully understand what’s going on here, but yeah interesting item right here. $75.31, vintage Nike, Weaker Sex front and Your Serve Big Boy, size medium, made in the USA. Another item, you guys this is screaming money. We got a Barry Sanders, size small, medium. $60 this sold for right here. I’m surprised it only sold for $60. Tag’s a little damaged, you got some writing around the collar, $60. Just another example of older vintage Nike tee shirts that can make you money.

Now again, I want to emphasize you Amy never find one of these items out in the field, but if you do, you better pick it up. That’s the key guys in this eBay game. It’s being aware of the opportunities and then when you get lucky, boom, you pop and you flip it and make some money.

Next up is a vintage 90’s, let’s see … What does this say? Aqua Gear Spell Out, outdoor tee shirt, turquoise, $99. $99 right here. Doesn’t really … Well, now it looks vintage. I was going to say it didn’t really look vintage at first. It’s kind of a little vintage, but then when I saw this little front design, it just looks … It’s just an older design.

Guys again, you don’t have to be an expert when it comes to Nike, you just need to be aware of what looks a little off. What looks a little different. What are some of the characteristics of something that’s form the 80’s or 90’s. A lot of time it’s going to be the color, the design, various graphics, the tag, seeing it say 40-42 or 42-44, that’s another thing ’cause you don’t see that on a lot of the newer tags from my experience. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s just something that I’m noticing right there.

So, guys and gals, there is a lot of money to be made with this stuff. If you see it, pick it up. Do your research. I love making these videos, it’s so much fun because there’s just so many opportunities out there to buy and sell on eBay and today I just wanted to showcase some Nike vintage tee shirts.
