What’s going on everybody? I’m YouTube Steve here, Raiken Profit. Early morning Connecticut. Car’s all frosted up right now. But I wanna make a quick video for the new reseller who might be addicted to watch an YouTube videos of other resellers, Instragrammers, you know, others out there who’ve been doing this for five, six, seven, eight years who are getting a lot of results because sometimes it can be discouraging starting an eBay business.

You’re beginning to go to thrift stores and garage sales and maybe you’ve only made a couple of sales. And here’s the thing. When you see people on Instagram, on YouTube who are having success, like I said before, they’ve been doing it for five, six, seven, eight years. In order to start having success, it’s gonna take time. It’s gonna take experience.

A lot of times, I hate to say it but on social media, we all portray things to be perfect and no, we never make mistakes, we never have setbacks and that’s not the case. And that’s why I really try to share my ups and downs on this channel to be realistic. So, if you’re getting started in eBay and Amazon and just entrepreneurship in general, just know, it takes time. All the people that you’re watching who are having success and getting results, it takes time. They’ve made a lot of mistakes. They’ve failed multiple times and it’s gonna be the same with you as well.

You could shorten your learning curve by watching these videos but you’ve gotta take action. You’ve gotta go out there and get that experience. So, don’t get discouraged if you’re seeing people putting up numbers of five, 10,000 a month and 50,000 a month with Amazon and private label and selling clothing, making a couple a grand a month. Whatever it is, right, don’t get discouraged. Don’t try to compete with them. Compete with yourself. And don’t try to compete with their results. Compete with your processes. Compete with who you were, the day before.

If you listed five items the day before, let’s list six today. Let’s list seven. If you only went sourcing twice last week and you got 40 items, let’s go sourcing three times this week and get 50 items. If you only studied the sold listings twice last week for an hour and a half, let’s study three times for two hours. Let’s start slowly improving and getting better and let’s not compare ourselves to the people on YouTube and Instagram and Snapchat, right?

Because at the end of the day, they’ve been in the game for a while. Very seldomly do you see, and it’s very rare that you see somebody who just comes on the scene and starts getting amazing results in like a month or two. It just takes time. So, wanna just make this video and just be real and share what’s on my mind. There’s a lot of money to be made in this business of reselling and there’s so many opportunities out there with the internet and it’s crazy with online selling in general.

Let’s start naming things. eBay, Amazon, Facebook, Craigslist, I mean the list goes on and on. We could talk about Etsy. We could talk about Poshmark, right? It’s crazy. But you gotta pick something and start taking action and start getting experience. So, with that being said, keep up and keep making that money. I’m freezing my butt off out here so I’m gonna go back in the car. But have a great week and I’ll see you in the next video.
